Quckie Update
This one is for Imadad2. I understand his frustration that a lot of old reads are not posting anymore. I have the same feeling. I miss hearing from people that seem like old friends and I would certainly miss Imadad if he stopped his morning posts.
My wife's meets with a surgeon later this week to discuss her upcoming surgery. It will require an overnight hospital stay, but as long as there is no cancer, should be relatively safe and quick if not pain free.
I do need to post a bit more often. I am back training for another half marathon. It is a good distance, just far enough to require serious training and effort, but not far enough to kill my joints.
Work continues to be fast and furious. The markets are going up, up, up and I am still not sure I understand why. Oil prices are so high that inflation has to be around the corner, but Mr. Market does not seem worried. I am letting my winners run at the moment. I don't understand it, but if the market keeps running, retirement and college costs will be easier to swallow.
