Purex

Where as earlier in the week writing entries seemed like a chore, I have had a burst of inspiration the last couple of days as I have actually had time to catch-up on some old favorite diaries.

One of the first diaries I found on Dland was Purex’s. After the big Dland blow-up a couple of weeks back, she has now relocated to another website. Anyway, Purex just found out that her mother was diagnosed with MS. My heart goes out to her. I have never met her, but over the last year that I have read her diary and her archives, I have painted a pretty good mental image of her, and I feel just as bad for her as I would for any of my friends that would have found out the same news. That is the funny thing about Dland. I am sure she is a bit in shock and not really sure exactly what the diagnosis means. I will keep her family in my thoughts.

I signed up for the new Blockbuster DVD by mail service today. I am going to check it out and see if I like it. I put a bunch of kids movies into my queue, but also a few for my wife and I (no there is no porn on the Blockbuster site). I will give you all an update on how it works out.

While I was signing up for the service, I found a webpage where I can get a free Apple IPod by getting three people to sign-up for Blockbuster or a bunch of other free offers at a webpage. It might not be for real but a trustworthy friend told me about it. If anyone wants to investigate the possibility of a free Apple IPod (or $85 in cash), you can check out this webpage. This is selfish self-promotion, because if three of you sign-up, I will get (well, will get if they are truthful) an IPod. Should I be lucky enough to get an IPod in the mail, I will let you all know that as well.

If you are of the praying persuasion, say a little pray for Purex and her family
