Odds and Ends (mostly odds)

Well, we were watching TV last night (Lost) when an ad came on for a news story regarding “female Viagra”. My wife calmly stated, maybe that is what she needs. So I walked into our bedroom, pulled the articles off of her night table and handed them to her. I told her that I thought she should read them. I went to work on another project in the basement. After about half an hour, she came down stairs and told me that she was part of the way through the first article (long article) and thought it was “very interesting”. She did not finish the first article last night, but I was delighted that she was finally taking it into consideration.

In other business, I read an article yesterday in a recent Business Week about Natalie Gulbis the “Anna Kournikova” of the women’s golf. I have got to say that I would watch a whole lot more women’s golf if all the golfers were as fresh-faced and hot as 21 year-old Natalie. While on the subject of hot women athletes. I never was a huge, huge fan of Anna. She certainly was easy on the eyes from time to time, but there are so many attractive tennis players out there that Anna never cracked my top 5. The young Russians, including this years Wimbledon winner Maria Sharapova and the young Belgium women are excellent players and with more talent (or at least more on court success) than Anna and are very easy on the eyes. Oh, well, enough of that topic.

Not sure if this segues well or not, but a couple of other thoughts on how my taste in women have expanded. Pregnant women are, nearly universally, hot. I am not sure what it is and I never would have thought this to be the case before my wife was pregnant, but it is true. Women seem to think they look gross, but to me, the rosy complexion, the fullness of bosom and hips are just sexy. I suppose it could just be me, but I doubt it.

Another worthless fact about me that did not make my list of 100: I have about the first 20 pages of Dr. Seuss’ “Cat in the Hat” book memorized. “The sun did not shine, it was too wet to play, so we sat in the house all that cold, cold wet day….”

Lastly, Ms. Turner posted about creating links in her diary. I know nothing about computers or HTML, so it took me a little trial and error to figure it out, so I thought I would share my experience with fellow “technotards”. Not to insult Ms. Turner or anyone else. Actually, I am having trouble making the page come out with useful info, so if you want to find a resource on the web, try this link! I am not sure if this was useful or not, but at least I tried.

Hope everyone is have a good week.
